I really enjoyed The Earl’s Runaway Governess – I thought that it was a fantastic 5 star read! This isn’t the first book that I have read by this author, I really love her writing. Everything about her stories fits the era in which she has set her stories. I do think that this is my favourite book of hers I have to say. I was captivated form the very beginning. I felt like I was on the journey with Marianne, I was willing her to escape and then I was willing her to find happiness. The way in which the author wrote the story made it seem so real, her vivid descriptions helped me to imagine what Marianne was going through. I could definitely imagine watching this as a period drama on television! I really liked Ash too and I knew that as soon he met Marianne sparks were going to fly between the two!!
Overall a fantastic read that I highly recommend! I can’t wait to read more from Ms Tinley again in the future!!
